This is the qualifier. The Frontier Impact Studio works when the organisation is ready for it — and not before. Five minutes of honesty, then you’ll know.
You’re ready if:
AI is happening, but not compounding.
Pilots run. Demos work. The board has approved investment. But the cumulative effect on the business is smaller than the spend would suggest, and you can’t fully articulate why.
You can name the unmade decisions.
Who owns AI value. How risk is governed. Where the decision rights sit. What success actually looks like. The questions have surfaced. No-one has resolved them.
You can feel the People Gap.
Your capable people are getting frustrated. The organisation is slower than they are. You suspect the system is the constraint, not the talent.
You’re not ready yet if:
You haven’t seen AI work for you.
Proof-of-concept comes before strategy. We can’t accelerate that step for you — and a Studio is the wrong place to find out whether AI matters in your organisation.
No-one owns AI at executive level.
The Studio’s output needs somewhere to land. If ownership hasn’t been assigned, resolve that first — even informally — then come back.
The senior team can’t make two to four weeks.
Studios fail when delegated. If the people who should be in the room can’t be, it’s better to wait until they can.
